I had a tutorial with Sally-Ann Gill, the weaving tutor at the textile Design course at Tremough on thursday, 03.05.2012.
She showed my the utter basics on the software called scotsweave.
We uploaded an image of a drawing and went through the very first primary changes in order to turn the Photoshop image into a into an image wich can be used for the loom.
I hadn’t really appreciated how complex this technology is!
but the possibilities a rather overwhelming!
I was pleased that she liked the image and what we can do with it.
I saved the work, but hadn’t realized that the images needed to be saved as Jpeg or tiff in order to open them outside the Scotweave program.
So next time when I am at Tremough, I will do that, so can upload them to this post in order to illustrate the work we have done.
